# MCP (Model Context Protocol)

> Run the API Dental MCP server with MCP-compatible clients to access dental APIs directly from your IDE or AI agent.

The API Dental MCP server lets you access dental eligibility and payer APIs directly from MCP-compatible clients like Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and other AI development tools.

## Installation

```bash theme={null}
npm i api-dental-pro-mcp@latest --save-dev
```

## Configuration

Add the MCP server to your client's configuration:

## Usage

Once configured, you can ask your AI assistant to:

* Check eligibility for a dental patient
* Look up supported payers
* Run ClearCoverage verification requests
* Explore payer features and status

The MCP server exposes the same API operations available through the REST and GraphQL endpoints.
